I am a graduate of Donna High School and the University of Texas-Pan American. Before moving to Weslaco, I was a 5th grade teacher in Sharyland. This will be my 25th year teaching. My husband and I have two amazing boys, a dog and a cat.

  Our oldest son, Ryan, graduated from Weslaco High School in 2021.  He is a 2025 graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where he earned a degree in Finance. During his time at CWRU, he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, BrewCWRU and the Weatherhead Fund Finance Organization.  He recently moved to New York to work as an equity research analyst on Wall Street.

  Our youngest son, Joshua, is a 2024 graduate of Weslaco High School.  While in high school he also earned an associates degree from STC.  Josh is currently a mechanical engineering student at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He’s a Hilltop Scholar and is involved in several campus organizations, including SMU Mustang Rocketry, the Best Buddies Club, and the professional engineering fraternity Theta Tau. Last year, he was also a member of the SMU Rugby team.
